Crystal Blue Tea
An organic blue tea made from butterfly pea flower which changes colour! The natural blue hue comes from the butterfly pea flower however when an acidic ingredient such as lemon, limes, honey etc is added to the tea, it magically transforms into a vivid purple colour!
It is beautifully blended with Australian-grown lemon myrtle and ginger, making it a refreshing tonic that you can drink hot or iced. Its also perfect for cocktails, relaxing warm teas, smoothies, cakes, popsicles and anything you want to naturally colour blue!
The vibrant blue hue from this blue pea flower comes from anthocyanins (blue pigments similar to blueberries and purple cabbage which are high in antioxidants).
